This notice intends to inform local lawyers about the needs of legal advice services of the Delegation of the European Union to Papua New Guinea (the ‘Delegation’) in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

The Delegation is looking for legal service in Port Moresby to serve as Adviser for the EU Delegation in the areas of:

•  Labour laws and Tax law
• Papua New Guinea administration laws
• Corporate and Real Estate law – Corporate laws
• Any other legal consultation needed.

The candidates must be authorised to practice its activities in the country.

The contract should be for a minimum period of 4 years, renewable for the same period.

Deadline for expression of interest: Friday, 22 August 2025 at 4.30pm (local time in Papua New Guinea/Port Moresby) 

If, on the basis of the information collected, the Delegation considers that all or part of the offers can effectively meet its needs, it will launch a negotiated procedure in accordance with Article 167(1)(d) of Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2024/2509 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 September 2024 on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the Union (the ‘Financial Regulation’) and Point 11(1)(g) of Annex I to the Financial Regulation.
