European Union in Botswana has supported Botswana citrus access to the EU markets to diversify economy and create much needed jobs in Botswana.

This included supporting the Department of Plant Protection and Ministry of Agriculture of Botswana to develop and implement procedures to export citrus to the EU market and to prevent diseases and infestations of citrus products destined to export markets.
