True Partnership: EUTM RCA and the Central African Republic

The partnership is not one of dependency, but of solidarity. From the beginning, EUTM RCA’s mission was clear: to strengthen the foundations of RCA’s own armed forces so they could safeguard their nation with professionalism and autonomy. Sharing knowledge, advising leaders, and modernising structures were not just technical tasks—they were acts of shared commitment, designed to make CAR self-reliant.

Over the years, a bond was forged. European and Central African soldiers worked side by side as partners bound by common values: respect for human dignity, the rule of law, accountability, and the vision of lasting peace. Every day, every classroom discussion, and every strategic reform carried the same goal—an army that could stand proudly on its own, serving its people.
