EVSDA 2025 – ‘PRODUCT DESIGN’ SHORTLIST – AQUAED (PHAN THỊ HIỀN NHI)

*

This project focuses on designing an improved beach shower system that addresses critical issues in drainage, user experience, and environmental impact.

The project integrates sustainable drainage practices using natural filter materials like rocks, gravel, and sand. These materials physically and biologically trap particulate matter and promote the breakdown of organic contaminants, reducing turbidity, pathogens, and chemical load in wastewater. A layered filtration system ensures that water discharged or reused is clear and safe, enhancing the environmental sustainability of the facility.

Materials for the beach shower were selected for durability, sustainability, and aesthetics.

The project combines functional design, environmental responsibility, and user-focused innovation. It demonstrates an integrated approach to material selection, sustainable water management, and durable construction, aiming to create a safe, practical, and eco-friendly solution for beachgoers.
