ELIGIBILITY

EVSDA 2025 accepts project submissions from:

Vietnamese nationals working in the fields of design, architecture, arts, culture, communication, media, innovation, etc.

Studios, labs, startups, NGOs and other relevant businesses/communities operating in Vietnam in the fields as listed above, and which are run by Vietnamese nationals.

Students in the fields of design, architecture, media and communications from Vietnamese schools/universities.

Individuals and organisations from EU Member States (operating in Vietnam or in the EU) can also submit projects, provided that their projects are in collaboration with Vietnamese partners and that the projects have been implemented in Vietnam.

CATEGORIES & CRITERIA 

EVSDA 2025 consists of four thematic categories: Architecture, Product Design, Communication Design, and Innovation. For detailed information and evaluation criteria for each category, please click on the URLs in the preceding sentence. 

You can submit completed projects, student projects, or concept proofs. Concept proofs or student projects will be assessed for the Emerging Designer category. 

Projects have to have been completed within the past five calendar years, counting backwards from submission date. 

Individuals/organisations can submit more than one project, in more than one category.

Please complete a new application for each project submitted to EVSDA 2025.

You can complete this form in either Vietnamese or English.

You can complete the project profile in either Vietnamese or English.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

Please use this provided PPT file for completing the project profile. NOTE: You can add more slides (by duplicating the templates), or choose to use only certain templates in the PPT file. There is no limit to the number of slides and the amount of information provided.

Please upload the completed project profile (with at least 8 high-resolution photos) to an online file-sharing folder, with access rights set to ‘Public’. You can edit/replace files in this folder for up to 24 hours following the original submission date. 

Please refer carefully to the detailed evaluation criteria for each category when you complete your project profile, and provide as much information as possible. 

AWARDS STRUCTURES

Each of the four categories will celebrate three projects as selected by the Jury, including one Grand Prize for the project deemed most convincing: a residency hosted by a design office in the EU. 

In addition, each category will include one Emerging Designer Award, and one Audience's Choice Award. Audience voting will begin following the end of the submission period.
