The European Union, represented by Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the Union Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, and Commissionner Hahn, have strongly supported the historic agreement signed by Prime Ministers Tsipras and Zaev, following negotiations under the auspices of the United Nations (UN). It took political courage, leadership and responsibility on all sides to resolve one of the most entrenched disputes in the region (17 June 2018).
