In Memoriam: Julian Wilson

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Julian Wilson, EU Ambassador to Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam and ASEAN from 2008 to 2013. He passed away in Brussels on Monday, 26 October 2020.

Julian was an outstanding professional who performed his functions with great intelligence and dedication. He was a warm and endearing personality, helped by his sense of humour and journalistic wit. He loved Indonesia and felt at home here.

Julian will be deeply missed. The staff of the Delegation will cherish the fond memories we have of him. Our thoughts and sympathy go out to his wife and loved ones.
