Recap

Angela, a compassionate and devoted caregiver, has suffered the loss of her husband, who, along with many others in their community, succumbed to an asbestos-related illness. When the man deemed responsible for these tragedies, now paralyzed, requires support, Angela seizes the opportunity presented by his son to become his caregiver. Motivated by a desire for retribution, she hopes to obtain justice for the pain and loss caused by his actions.

Director

Ivan Gergolet 

Ivan Gergolet was born in 1977. He started shooting short documentaries and short fiction films while studying cinema at the DAMS-University of Bologna. He was among the media activists who founded OrfeoTV, Italy's first street television station, in 2022. His first film, Dancing with Maria (2014), was the first documentary ever to be selected for the International Critics' Week at the Venice Film Festival, where it was awarded the Civitas Vitae Award. After this initial success, he taught cinema at various institutions; he also was one of the co-founders of the Cross-Border Film School, which focuses on training, research, production, and experimentation with new cinematographic languages. He has been a member of the European Film Academy since 2015.
