European films that you could not find at the box office will meet the audience in Türkiye during the "European Cinema Week" in 10 cities at different dates with the support of the EU Information Centres.

Having its Gala in Ankara on 13 June, the "European Cinema Week" will begin its journey in the cities on 16-22 June 2023 in Eskişehir and Trabzon; will continue in İzmir on 11-16 September; and will end with simultaneous screenings in Antalya, Bursa, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Edirne, Mersin and Samsun on 22-28 September.

The Gala Event (by invitation only) will feature the premiere of the Ukrainian film "Luxembourg, Luxembourg" with the support of the Embassy of Greece.

Embassies of EU Member States in Türkiye and the EU Delegation selected 16 European films that will go on an Anatolian tour of 10 cities:

“Oskar and Lilli” from Austria, “The Gods of Molenbeek” from Belgium, “The Infinite Garden” from Bulgaria, “Melchior the Apothecary” from Estonia, “Aurora” from Finland, “The Big Hit” from France, “Rabiye Kurnaz vs George W. Bush” from Germany, “Dating Amber” from Ireland, “Io Sto Bene” from Italy, “My Love Affair with Marriage” from Latvia, “Runner” from Lithuania, “Luzzu” from Malta, “Wild Amsterdam” from Netherlands, “Never Gonna Snow Again” from Poland, “Schoolgirls” from Spain and “Cold Case Hammarskjöld” from Sweden; will meet with the audience in Eskişehir, Trabzon, İzmir, Antalya, Bursa, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Edirne, Mersin and Samsun respectively.

All screenings in the 10 cities are open to public and free of charge.
