Sakharov Fellowship 2024

The European Parliament is currently accepting applications for the ninth edition of its Sakharov Fellowship (deadline 8 October), which enables up to 14 human rights defenders selected from non-European Union countries the opportunity to follow a two-week intensive training in Brussels and at the Global Campus of Human Rights in Venice. The 2024 programme will run from 4 to 16 March.
Under the Fellowship’s training programme, the selected participants will have opportunities to enhance their knowledge of EU and international human rights frameworks, policies and mechanisms and develop capacities to advocate for and effect positive change to protect human rights.
