The Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Japan today launched a competition to select a design for a logo/visual identity to mark the 50^th anniversary of the EU’s official presence in Japan next year after the establishment of an office of the then European Communities (EC) in Tokyo in 1974.

The selected design would be used for various Delegation events, promotional materials and social media channels during the course of 2024. The competition is open to any Japanese, EU Member State or EU Candidate Country national, regardless of age. Submissions must be received no later than 17:00 (Japan Standard Time) on Friday, 17 November 2023.
