On 21 February, European Union Ambassador to Japan Patricia Flor and the Ambassador of Cyprus to Japan, Charis Moritsis, unveiled a plaque at the entrance to Europa House in Tokyo, marking the official handover of a part of the building which will accommodate the Embassy of Cyprus. Such an arrangement, where an EU Member State embassy shares a part of the premises used by the EU Delegation in that country, has already been in place in several dozen countries around the world.
