On the 23rd of August, the EU Head of Delegation to Namibia, Ms Jana Hybaskova made a statement under the theme: "NGOs, Civil Society at the heart of Climate Change Solutions".  The event was facilitated by the French Embassy in Windhoek.  This formed part of a series of 'Park Talks' on climate change and the importance of non-state actors as key contributors in the fight against climate change. Similarly the Delegation participated in the event to warm up for the 'Climate Diplomacy Week' that will take place in mid September this year.
