Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs Delegation visits EUAM Iraq

On 27 May, a Swiss delegation headed by the Ambassador of Switzerland to Iraq, H.E. Lukas Gasser, visited EUAM Iraq. The guests from the Alps sought information about the Mission’s mandate, living conditions and security arrangements. The HoM also briefed the delegation about EUAM’s organizational structure, tasks and activities since its arrival in Iraq in November 2017. Discussions are ongoing in the EU and in Switzerland as a contributing third state on deploying Swiss staff to EUAM Iraq.
