Michael Reiterer, the EU Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, first counsellors of political and trade sections paid a visit to JoongAng Media Group to witness parallel production of the Korean newspaper JoongAng Ilbo, English newspaper Korea JoongAng Daily and Sunday edition of JoongAng Sunday. The EU Ambassador also met with JoongAng Ilbo's first ever female editor in chief who has recently been appointed. The local press showed great enthusiasm in European issues and matters and pledged to pay more attention in response to public interests.
