The high-ranking EU military official had the honor to meet with H.E Daw Aung San Su Kyi, State Counselor of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and shared their views on issues of mutual interest.

Further, the Chairman had a meaningful and comprehensive discussion, with Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Commander-in-Chief of the Myanmar Armed Forces, on their strategic goals and actions.

In addition, General Kostarakos had a fruitful meeting with Ambassadors from members of European Union Countries.

During his visit to Nay Pyi Taw, the CEUMC laid a wreath at the Memorial for Fallen Heroes and also gave a speech to candidates of the National Defence College on: "The European Union as a Security Provider and the Role of the Military".
