NAIROBI, April 19 2017 - Today, the European Union Delegation and Air Traffic Ltd who operates EU Flight Somalia jointly launched the new EU Flight website www.euflight-somalia.com The website showcases EU support to Somalia and provides EU Flight users with travel information.

EU Ambassador to Somalia Veronique Lorenzo said that EU flight is an important tool that allows EU partners to better serve the Somali people. EU Flight carries 1100 passengers per month and delivers an average of 14 tonnes of cargo per month for programmes in support of the Somali population.

“We are proud of this service and hope EU Flight users will find the website useful and interactive” Ambassador Veronique Lorenzo said.

EU flight has facilitated implementing partners to operate in different parts of the country since 1994 and has been an indispensable tool to deliver humanitarian and development assistance.
