Parachinar has been targeted for sectarian attacks before, the last time in 2015 when 25 people died in another blast.  We extend our condolences to the families and friends of the victims. The attack once again underlines our need to forge strong international bonds in the fight against terrorism. The European Union will continue to work closely with Pakistan against this global threat.
