EU DELEGATION IN INDIA SELLING OLD/SURPLUS FURNITURE

The Delegation of the European Union to India is selling its surplus furniture which includes modular desks, credenzas, big wooden cupboards/bookshelves, steel shelving units, cafeteria furniture, tables and chairs etc.  Pictures of same are attached – one or two furniture in the pictures is fixed and is not for sale.

Viewing of furniture can be done at Polish Embassy strictly on 17 & 18 January, 2017 (Tuesday & Wednesday) from 10am to 1pm only. (The steel rail furniture filing system in the basement of Polish Embassy is not for sale)


The bidders who are interested to inspect the furniture should send at least 2 days in advance their names and scanned copy of their ID by email to Harish.Oberoi@eeas.europa.eu with copy to Marta.Kotlarska@msz.gov.pl for security clearance purpose. They should also mention the date and time of their arrival.  No entry will be possible outside the above-mentioned dates and hours. The bidders should carry their original ID card when they come for inspection of which they have sent a scanned copy through email.  Bidders who do not observe the above guideline for viewing the furniture will not be allowed entry in the premises but can submit their bid.

Bids for above furniture may be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to Head of Administration, Delegation of the European Union to India, 5/5 Shanti Niketan, New Delhi 110021 latest by Monday, 23 January 2016, 4 pm, mentioning clearly on top of the envelope:

"Bid for sale of furniture - Not to be opened by the mail registry".

Only the successful bidder will be contacted and payment will be accepted by Bank draft only.  The successful bidder will make his/her own arrangement to pick-up the furniture expeditiously from the Polish Embassy after receiving intimation from us.
