HR/VP Josep Borrell was in Lebanon & Saudi Arabia, 4th trip to the region. He stressed the need to:
- avoid a regional conflict
- have a humanitarian pause in Gaza, leading to a more sustainable one and for hostages to be released
- work with partners on a long term solution
