Poverty and hunger left Rosimar´s family no choice but leaving their country, Venezuela. The sold whatever they could to pay for part of the journey on the back of trucks and crowded minivans, but had ultimately to walk for weeks to reach Peru. They aim at continuing their journey to Santiago de Chile, thousands of kilometres away, where Rosimar hopes to fulfill her dream of studying and becoming a doctor.
