We call on the transitional Syrian authorities to ensure that these efforts are carried out in a transparent, impartial, and inclusive manner, in line with international standards of justice. It is essential that relevant international bodies, as well as Syrian and international civil society organisations, be fully associated to these efforts. The EU continues to support the Syrian people in their journey toward peace, stability, and justice.
