This is an occasion to engage with our partners. We will put together our efforts to continue supporting Ukraine.

In my case, I have come back from Ukraine. It was my fourth visit to Ukraine since the beginning of the war. And I see there a country – and a people – resisting [and] that needs our support.

We, at the European Union, have to convince all Member States to increase their supplies of arms and to develop our industrial capacity. It is urgent. We have to continue providing ammunition. If we put together what has been donated and what [is being] supplied through exports, we are above 1 million ammunitions – we will be [at] more than that at the end of the year.

But what we need is a stronger capacity of our industry. Our defence industry has to develop quicker and that is why we will present a new strategy for that.

Today, we will coordinate with partners in order to make Ukraine prevail and supply whatever Ukraine needs in order to continue resisting the aggression.

Thank you.

Q&A

Gracias.
