Media advisory: Fourth EU–Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum

The High Representative of the EU Kaja Kallas will host the Fourth EU–Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum. The EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum will bring together the EU and its Member States with countries from the East coast of Africa in the West to the Pacific islands in the East, making it one of the largest diplomatic gatherings in Europe this year.

It comes at a time of growing strategic alignment between the EU and Indo-Pacific partners on security, connectivity, and sustainable growth. The Forum will reaffirm the EU’s commitment to a free, open and rules-based regional order, and to strengthening cooperation on trade, technology, and the protection of critical supply chains.

18 November – Technical Briefing

Special Envoy of the European Union for the Indo Pacific will hold a Technical briefing for the press on 18 November at 9:00am (CET). Journalists will be able to participate and ask questions either in person at the Europa building press room or remotely.
