"Media literacy is one of the most exciting fields today“. Maida is hopeful. Media literacy is often cited as the best cure against disinformation, but the challenges are daunting. Not least in the Western Balkans, where her organization Mediacentar Sarajevo is fighting to transform citizens into active agents in the information environment. In this video, Maida shares her vision for a media literate Western Balkans, where education, professional journalism and informed citizens play a central role.
