High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, announced today the following appointments for senior positions in the European External Action Service (EEAS):

Christina KOKKINAKIS as Director for Values and Multilateral Relations/ Deputy Managing Director of Managing Directorate Global. She will take up her duties on 1 January 2022. She is currently the Ambassador of Austria to the Political and Security Committee (PSC).

Frank HOFFMEISTER as Director for General Affairs and Chief Legal Officer. He took up his duties on 1 November 2021. He was previously Head of Investigations II in the Anti-Circumvention Unit of the Directorate-General for Trade within the European Commission.

High Representative Borrell also announced the appointment of a new Head of Delegation of the European Union:

Patricia LLOMBART CUSSAC as Head of the EU Delegation to Morocco. She took up duties on 4 November 2021. She was previously Head of the EU Delegation to Colombia.
