Call for Proposals: REGIONAL FACILITY FOR TEACHERS IN AFRICA

The Regional Teachers Initiative for Africa (RTIA), funded by the European Union, is launching two calls for proposals to address the challenges faced by teachers in crisis-affected environments where they must adapt pedagogical methods, manage stress and trauma, and work with limited resources.

 

Innovative Solutions for Teacher Education

  • Call for Proposals 1 (“CfP1”) will focus on identifying and supporting the scaling-up of innovative solutions to enhance the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of initial and continuous teacher education & professional development. With a total budget of €3.2 million, it will aim at identifying and expanding effective and innovative teaching methods that can be adapted and scaled up across different regions. This call will be managed by Enabel and published on June 5th at the following link: CfP1 - Innovative Solutions for Teacher Education. The deadline for submission is 15th of July.

Support to teachers in crisis contexts

  • Call for Proposals 2 (“CfP2”) will address the acute challenges faced by teachers in crisis-affected environments, where they must adapt pedagogical methods, manage stress and trauma, and work with limited resources. Managed by Expertise France and endowed with a maximum budget of €5 million, this call for proposals will be accessible from June 5th at the following link: CfP2 - Support to teachers in crisis contexts The deadline for submission is 15th of July.
