SXSW has become the largest festival in the United States, combining the tech and digital, film and music industries and is attended by over 300,000 people each year.

The Euro Tech House was very well attended with 2,338 visitors over two days of programming. The programme included panel sessions on food sustainability, tech, AI, health, med-tech and music; 7 VIP sessions; 3 partner events; more than 30 top speakers and moderators; 2 music events with six music bands from Spain, Hungary, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Austria; 3 activations: EU Food Cart, live cooking demo, AR virtual exhibition.

EU Executive Vice-President Margrethe Vestager attended SXSW for the fourth time. This continuous engagement was honoured by SXSW organizers through her induction into the SXSW Hall of Fame as the first European inductee and first political figure featuring in this list. Her numerous press and stakeholders engagements, as well as her participation to an event on the main SXSW stage, significantly boosted the visibility of the Euro Tech House.
