There are currently over 11,000 job offers advertised on the EURAXESS website, including over 200 job offers in the UK. The UK hosts 30 EURAXESS support centres across its four nations.

The Innovation Talent Platform is an EU-wide matching tool to help European businesses, including start-ups, to find the talents and funding they need. It also allows for entrepreneurs and innovators across the globe to find their way to the European market.

The ERA Talent Platform was launched at the EURAXESS Biennial Conference 2024, taking place from 10 to 12 June in the 2024 European City of Science – Katowice.

During the event, the Commission also announced the revamping of the European EURAXESS portal, allowing researchers and research-performing organisations to easier navigate and access information, apply for positions, and take advantage of services offered by the EURAXESS network.

The revamped EURAXESS portal allows for better integration with other data systems such as EUROPASS, enhancing data exchange and interoperability. It also improves performance and strengthens security measures to safeguard user data.

Background

Established 20 years ago, the "EURAXESS – Researchers in Motion" network currently includes 43 member countries, including the United Kingdom, with more than 610 service centres, including 30 in the UK, offering tailored information on 18 topics of support (VISA, pension, taxes etc.), and 9 international offices operating in various regions of the world. As of January 2024, the European EURAXESS portal counts more than 14.000 registered organisations, more than 110.000 researchers active on the platform and an average of 62.000+ jobs, funding and hosting opportunities published each year.
