Her Excellency Lucie Berger, the Ambassador of the European Union to the United Arab Emirates, held a meeting with His Excellency Salem Khalid Al Qassimi, UAE Minister of Culture and Youth, at the Ministry of Culture and Youth headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, they discussed enhancing bilateral relations and partnership between the EU and the UAE, with a specific focus on deepening cultural understanding and empowering youth.

Their discussions also explored avenues of collaboration, including efforts to safeguard cultural heritage from the impacts of climate change, a timely topic in anticipation of the upcoming COP28 conference.
