European Cinema Days in Türkiye 2025

European Cinema Days will offer an unforgettable experience to cinema lovers in Antalya, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Edirne, Eskişehir, İzmir, Samsun, and Trabzon.

 

Organised by the Delegation of the EU to Türkiye together with the Embassies of EU Member States and EU National Institutes for Culture, in cooperation with several EU Information Centres, the event will feature a diverse selection of films from across Europe.

Featured titles include:

“Life’s a Bitch” from Belgium, “Hotel Pula” from Croatia, “The Teacher’s Lounge” from Germany, “Four Souls of Coyote” from Hungary, “A Dark Story” from Italy, “Maria’s Silence” from Latvia, “Toxic” from Lithuania, “Jippie No More” from the Netherlands, “Kos” from Poland, “Greice” from Portugal, “The Secret of Pin-Up Island” from Romania, “Family Therapy” from Slovenia, “Jokes and Cigarettes” from Spain, “And the King Said, What a Fantastic Machine” from Sweden.

The closing evening of the European Cinema Days (by invitation only) will take place on 28 May in Ankara and is set to feature a special screening of the film Malevich, a co-production by Ukraine, Serbia, Italy, and Switzerland.

Free screenings will be held at the following venues:

  • Diyarbakır: Mordem Art Centre, 22–26 May
  • Antalya: Antalya Culture and Arts (AKS), 22–25 May
  • Denizli: Pamukkale Congress and Culture Centre, Mehmet Gazi Venue, 22–25 May
  • Edirne: Margi AVM Cinegold, 22–25 May
  • İzmir: Institut Français İzmir, 22–25 May
  • Samsun: Yeşilyurt AVM Paribu Cineverse, 22–25 May
  • Trabzon: Lara Cinema, 22–25 May
