Vito and Carla separated a long time ago. They have three children. They loved each other desperately before hate replaced love. Now Vito has a new life and Carla too has a partner. Everyone feels like a tragedy that was waiting to happen has been averted and destiny is on their side. At least until that day, that evening when Vito disappears.
