Recap
Inspired by actual events, Carmen is a charming story set in a village on the Mediterranean island of Malta. Since the age of sixteen, Carmen (Natascha McElhone) has looked after her brother, the local church's priest. Now almost fifty, she suddenly decides to leave in order to start a new life. Facing her past, Carmen brings color to the villagers' lives in this compelling story about a woman finding her voice.
