A plaque next to the tree documents the sponsorship as well as the Delegation’s commitment for a greener Bern in a greener Europe.

The action takes place both as part of the EU’s global #ForOurPlanet campaign as well as of Bern’s Greening Embassies Network, an initiative of like-minded embassies in Bern aiming at reducing the diplomatic community’s environmental footprint and contributing to a green and liveable city.
