The Gazi Baba Park in Skopje was the place to be on 13 May. Hundreds of people of all ages gathered for a picnic amid live music, a variety of sport and educational activities (including on endemic species in the Park), tasty food – and above all good vibes. In the green hidden gem not very far from the city centre, the EU Delegation to North Macedonia threw this party for the citizens on the occasion of Europe Day (or Europe Month). The shaky May weather was on our side this time and allowed for an afternoon full of fun and entertainment, which culminated with the performance of the legendary guitarist Vlatko Stefanovski and his band.

The picnic was the flagship in a series of events that the EU Delegation, together with the Europe House network, organised this May under the slogan ‘The Future Connects Us’.
