Competition Guidelines

Eligibility

The EU & Malaysia Sustainability Campaign Photo Competition is open to all interested persons, 18 years of age and above.

Categories

There are two main categories:

• Professional photographers
• Amateur photographers

Closing Date

Kindly note the EU & Malaysia Sustainability Campaign illuminations on TS Law Tower will run until 11:59 pm 15 June 2024. Photographs need to be taken by this date.

The closing date for submission of entries is 21 June 2024 at 11:59 pm.

Copyright

The copyright of the digital images submitted will be remain with the Delegation of the European Union to Malaysia.

Submission

All photographs must be submitted in the form of digital files. Digital images submitted should be a minimum of 300 ppi in resolution.

If file sizes are above 8MB in size, please submit the photographs in the form of a link to an online drive.

Submission steps

1. Like and follow the EUinMalaysia on Instagram AND European Union in Malaysia on Facebook. 
2. Submit your entry by email to DELEGATION-MALAYSIA-PRESS@eeas.europa.eu by the closing date.
3. Your submission should contain the following information:

Winners will have the option of either HARVEY NORMAN or IKEA gift vouchers.

Professional Category

1^st place – Gift Voucher for RM 4,000 and certificate

2^nd place – Gift Voucher for RM 3,000 and certificate

3^rd place –   Gift Voucher for RM 2,000 and certificate

10 Consolation prizes

Amateur Category - Male

1^st place –Gift Voucher for RM 3,000 and certificate

2^nd place –Gift Voucher for RM 2,000 and certificate

3^rd place –Gift Voucher for RM 1,000 and certificate

All winners and recipients of consolation prizes will be contacted to join a prize giving ceremony.
