The objective of the call is to strengthen territorial governance in regions of high biodiversity and rich sociocultural heritage through projects that promote:

• Community monitoring, transformative communication, and multilevel advocacy;
• Participation of women and youth;
• Protection of environmental defenders and their territories.

Geographic priority for this call includes: The Maya Forest, Trifinio, Moskitia, Tortuguero, La Amistad and Darién (in Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Panama).
