The elections for the European Parliament will be held on 6-9 June 2024, throughout Europe. Most European citizens in Israel can vote, but the voting process differs from country to country.

We have compiled for you the complete list of countries and all possible voting methods:

Austria

Austrian citizens are entitled to vote in the upcoming elections outside their country. They must register in advance by April 24. Voting is conducted by mail. The elections will be held on June 9.

Belgium

Belgian citizens are entitled to vote in the upcoming elections outside their country. They must pre-register by February 29. Voting is conducted by mail or by physical voting at the Belgian Embassy in Israel.

The embassy elections will be held on June 5.

Bulgaria

Citizens of Bulgaria are entitled to vote in the upcoming elections outside their country (provided they lived in one of the EU countries for at least 3 months before the elections). They must register in advance and come to vote physically at the Bulgarian Embassy in Israel (the final date for registration has not yet been determined).

The elections will be held on June 9.

Croatia

Citizens of Croatia are entitled to vote in the upcoming elections outside their country. They must register in advance by May 30 (10 days before the elections), and come to vote physically at the Croatian Embassy in Israel. The elections will be held on June 9.

Cyprus

Unfortunately, citizens of Cyprus will not be able to vote from Israel in the upcoming European Parliament elections. They can vote in Greece, Belgium and the United Kingdom (with the organization of at least 50 voters). They must register in advance by April 2nd.

Czech Republic

Unfortunately, citizens of the Czech Republic will not be able to vote from Israel in the upcoming European Parliament elections.

Denmark

Danish citizens are entitled to vote in the upcoming elections outside their country. No need to register in advance. They must come to vote physically at the Danish Embassy in Israel.

The elections will be held on June 9.

Estonia

Citizens of Estonia are entitled to vote in the upcoming elections outside their country. No need to register in advance. Voting is conducted by mail or at the Estonian Embassy in Israel.

French citizens are entitled to vote in the upcoming elections outside their country. They must register in advance by May 3, and come to vote physically at one of the four polling stations in Israel: Tel Aviv, Beer Sheva, Ashdod and Eilat.

Germany

Holland

Citizens of the Netherlands are entitled to vote in the upcoming elections outside their country. They must register in advance by April 25. Voting is conducted by mail.

There is also the option of voting by proxy in the Netherlands.

The elections will be held on June 6.

Hungary

Hungarian citizens are entitled to vote in the upcoming elections outside their country. Citizens with an address in Hungary are not required to register in advance, citizens without an address in Hungary are required to register in advance, 24 hours before the election date. Voting is conducted by mail or by physical voting at the Hungarian Embassy in Israel.

Unfortunately, Irish citizens will not be able to vote from Israel in the upcoming European Parliament elections.

Italy

Unfortunately, Italian citizens will not be able to vote from Israel in the upcoming European Parliament elections.

Latvia

Citizens of Latvia are entitled to vote in the upcoming elections outside their country. They must register in advance by May 8 (a month before the election date). Voting is conducted by mail.

The elections will be held on June 8.

Lithuania
