WCEF2025 Accelerator Session 

EU and El Salvador partner for the circular economy: SMEs driving green solutions

In El Salvador, the EU funds actions aimed to promote circular economy by directly supporting SMEs and entrepreneurs, helping them to develop strategies and reap the benefits of green practices. This session will showcase how SMEs of small economies in LAC region, can compete in an open market and drive green growth. El Salvador has been attracting a lot of attention lately, and, as facing a new economic scenario, there is also the necessity of ensure sustainable growth.  This helps to address climate change vulnerabilities, comply with environmental legislation, enhance community resilience and improve livelihoods. We will share best practices showing the benefits of green production and digital and inclusive solutions to ensure competitiveness and the growth of SMEs.

WCEF2025 will gather forward-looking thinkers and doers and present the game-changers in the circular economy. 

The forum will be held from 13 to 16 May in São Paolo, Brazil. WCEF2025 is organised jointly by the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, FIESP (Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo), CNI (Brazilian National Industry Confederation) and SENAI-SP (Brazilian National Industrial Learning Service), in close collaboration with international partner organisations. Free of charge, open to all online.
