Big Data and the Future of Work - webinar 3 February

The Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, the Labour Market Information Council of Canada and the International Labour Organization are glad to invite you to a research webinar on “Big Data and the Future of Work” organized as part of the EU-funded project “Building Partnerships on the Future of Work.”

The objective of the webinar is to bring together experts from the three institutions and external experts to discuss the possibilities of using big data sources to analyze ongoing future of work trends in both developed and developing economies. It will be an opportunity to present recent research work based on different types of big dada such as online job vacancies or CVs, geospatial data sources or mobile communication data and discuss their use for policy purposes.

To allow an in-depth discussion and participation of colleagues in other time zones, the meeting will take place on Thursday 3 February (3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Geneva time/ 9 a.m. – noon Ottawa time) via Zoom.
