Sustainable and Inclusive Development of the Peace Border

The Peace Border is a portion of the Brazilian-Uruguayan land border, that includes the twin cities of Rivera and Santana do Livramento. The border is so named because of the peaceful cultural interaction of the both nationalities leading to the integration of the two communities.

The project intends to promote the efficient management of public services and integrated urban agenda for both Santana do Livramento, and Rivera, Uruguay. Furthermore, it aims to improve quality of life at the border, implementing circular economy in the urban solid waste management with social inclusion.
