I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to the Republic of Cameroon and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

Europe and Africa are in the process of "reinventing" their partnership, in order to define a common and prosperous future, to better face collective challenges, while respecting mutual values and interests. Major international crises have reminded us of the need to step up dialogue and listen more closely.

The partnership, which drew its strength from the Cotonou Agreement, has been renewed on new foundations with the Samoa Agreement at the end of 2023, in order to establish a common area of prosperity that takes into account political, security, economic and trade relations, employment, the climate transition, digital transformation, as well as a still significant humanitarian aid component, faithful to the humanist and fraternal values that are at the origins of the creation of the EU.

Present in Cameroon since 1957, the EU is a reliable partner with long-term ties. The coordinated action of the EU and its Member States (Team Europe approach) is a multiplier for the benefit of Cameroonians.
