Message from Michael Dóczy

Welcome to the European Union in Bolivia

Superlative in its natural beauty, rugged, vexing, complex and slightly nerve-racking, Bolivia is one of South America’s most diverse and intriguing countries. This is how Lonely Planet describes this country – and I can fully subscribe to it.

Bolivia is also the EU's main cooperation partner in Latin America, known for its rich folklore and incredible biodiversity.

I would like to invite you to browse through this webpage in order to find out how the European Union accompanies Bolivia’s development while promoting core EU values like democracy, human rights and sustainable development.

I hope our web presence provides you with answers to many of your questions and raises your interest in the work of the European Union in Bolivia. For all remaining questions, doubts or comments, I encourage you to contact us in the Delegation. We are happy to get in touch with you and get to know you.
