International Women's Day

On March 6th, the Delegation opened its doors to commemorate International Women's Day.

Focusing on the role that art and culture play in gender equality, the event titled 'Change Through Art (But Not Magic)' began with welcoming remarks from Ambassador Paolo Brizzi. It then transitioned into a panel discussion moderated by journalist Viviana Ruggiero and featuring the Artistic Director of the National Ballet of SODRE, María Noel Riccetto, artist Julieta Rada, communicator Manuela Da Silveira, and murga performer Raúl Castro. The participants expressed their opinions on the role of women in culture and art in Uruguay.
