EuroLens: Finding Europe in Sri Lanka
Interactions between Sri Lanka and European countries date back centuries, with exchanges through migration, trade, tourism, culture, architecture, language and sports. Cross influences and relations can also be found in gastronomy, customs and shared values and principles such as democracy.
We invite young creatives aged 18-25 to capture these intersections through their lenses and brushes, to capture anything from artefacts, architecture, food and languages to values, principles and rights related to the European Union and its 27 member states (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden).
