Criminal networks are increasingly exploiting victims through digital scam centres, forcing them into cyber-enabled fraud and other illicit activities. The EU's proposed new sanctions will disrupt the criminal networks behind these operations and support victims.
The European Union promoted concrete action to strengthen global cybersecurity during the first substantive Plenary of the United Nations Global Mechanism on Responsible State Behaviour in Cyberspace, held from 20 to 24 July in New York.
