The Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture (MDETA) is hiring staff to manage Ukraine Agri-Food Appex Loan, financed by European Investment Bank.

The Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture (MDETA) is hiring staff to manage Ukraine Agri-Food Appex Loan, financed by European Investment Bank:

  1. Environmental and Social Compliance Specialist reviews requests for allocations of funds under the EIB Apex Agri-Food loan, particularly those that are intended to develop public goods and government infrastructure, for the three value chains (grains, oilseeds, and aquaculture/fisheries) the loan targets.   2. Procurement Specialist is responsible, in consultation with the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture (MDETA) , the technical assistance and other stakeholders, for establishing procurement procedures in compliance with EIB procedures and the law of Ukraine for public-sector procurements from the Apex Agri-Food Loan Operation.   3. Public Information Specialist assists the Project and the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture (MDETA) in informing the public, especially potential borrowers, about the availability of funds under the EIB Apex Agri-Food loan operation for the three value chains (grains, oilseeds, and aquaculture/fisheries) the loan targets.   4. Specialist in Ukrainian Administrative Law and Budgetary Procedures assists the Project and the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture (MDETA) in developing needed legal and regulatory acts to ensure the successful fulfilment of the portion of the overall loan operation that is devoting to financing public infrastructure. Fluency in written and spoken Ukrainian and English is a must.
