The European Commission (EC) is organising the EU Research and Innovation Days, its annual flagship event, virtually on 22-24 September 2020. The event aims at bringing together policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs and citizens to debate and shape the future of research and innovation in Europe and beyond.
The event is open to citizens of the EU and other countries (including Russia) and will be held in English language.
Building on last year's event, the 2020 edition will have three days of intensive policy co-designing with thought-provoking panels and matchmaking opportunities. This year will also feature 'Science is Wonderful' - a series of virtual fun activities for friends, families and classes to join in order to enjoy science experiments online.
“The 2020 edition of the European Research & Innovation Days promises to be a fantastic interactive event. With the policy conference covering ten thematic hubs including the Green Deal and Horizon Europe, co-design sessions and as well as prize ceremonies and the Science is Wonderful! exhibition, there is opportunity for everyone to get involved and share their thoughts on the future of European research & innovation”, said Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth
Registration is now open.
