Renowned Austrian actress Maxi Blaha stars in BELOVED MUSE - EMILIE FLÖGE at The Street Theatre, setting out in the footsteps of the It-Girl of Viennese Modernism, the fashion pioneer and lover of Gustav Klimit: Emilie Flöge. First performed on the 100th anniversary of Klimt's death at the Belvedere in Vienna, the play has since been touring the world with Maxi Blaha accompanied by Georg Buxhofer on electric bass. Written by Penny Black and directed by Heidelinde Leutgöb. Sunday’s performance will be in German.
The EU brings together representatives from youth organisations as well as young leaders to build bridges across cultures and borders. By building partnership and trust among young people from all continents, the EU empowers the youth to be both actor of and driver for social and political change. International Youth Day on August 12, celebrates the role of young women and men as essential partners in change, and provides an opportunity to raise awareness of challenges and problems facing the world’s youth.
