Commissioner Mariya Gabriel has launched a new Erasmus+ programme today for the period 2021 to 2027.
The first call for proposals under the new programme has also been published today.
The new Erasmus+ programme will provide opportunities for study periods abroad, traineeships, apprenticeships, and staff exchanges in all fields of education and training. The 2021-2027 programme will also have a strengthened international dimension, building on the success of the existing actions. The budget for the 2021-2027 programme is €26.2 billion, compared with €14.7 billion for the period 2014-2020. With this increased budget, Erasmus+ will be more inclusive, more digital, and greener.
